Raisin Rice Pudding

1/2 cup uncooked rice
2 cups milk
1/2 cup cream
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup raisins

Put rice, milk, cream and salt into a greased one quart casserole.  Bake in a slow oven 325F for 45 minutes.  Stir occasionally.

Add sugar, vanilla, and raisins and return to oven for 35 minutes or until the milk has cooked into the rice.  Stir occasionally.

Serves 6.
