Let's Travel Canada ~ Fredericton, New Brunswick

Fredericton was a drive by on our way to the Hartland Covered Bridge but we did manage to check out the Garrison District. We have no idea what this interview was about.  We just waited patiently until they were done so we didn't mess up whatever they were doing.

Day 4 . . . from Hopewell Rocks to Magnetic Hill, Moncton NB

May 21, better known as Day 4, was one of my favourite days on this trip. We were up early to be at Hopewell Rocks when the tide was out so we could walk on the ocean floor. There is only one way to describe this place . . .  . . .  in the truest sense of the word.     causing   feelings  of  great   admiration ,  respect , or  fear :  A n awesome   challenge / task   lies   ahead   of them.  awesome   scenery I did not want to leave.  It was cold and dreary with occasional showers and yet I did not want to leave.  I tried to talk Hal into going back to the car for our lawn chairs.  All I wanted to do was sit there until the alarm warned us that the tide was coming back in.  Sigh!  He wouldn't do it.  But that is how awesome it was.  Just so big, and unreal, and overwhelming. When my back couldn't take anymore ...

Day3 . . . from L'Etete, NB to Moncton NB

We left Dominion Hill Country Inn early this morning after a really delicious breakfast.    I give this inn five stars!  We spotted this little waterfall just down the road. We met up with Marilyn and Billy in St. George NB at the Tim Hortons and they lead the way to L'Etete and Green's Point Lighthouse.  It was pouring rain and we didn't care . . . well Hal minded a bit LOL.   This is one of the Deer Island ferries off to pick up the kids on the islands to bring them to school. The fog  was quite thick and the fog horns were really loud. A sea urchin . . .  We filled Snow with gas and picked up some lunch at the Circle K/Irving gas station in St. George.  They had a very good selection of grab and go meals available.  And then we said goodbye to our wonderful tour guides.  Next stop was Lepreau Falls and Rapids. Lesson learned today . . . the GPS isn't always right....
