                            complete 1 scrapbook layout

It took 3 hours to complete this layout because I had this crazy idea to cut out lots of flowers and letters.  I  spent time working on my Queen Anne's tablecloth and a couple of hours on my sweater.  Yes, I finally started it last night.  I love the yarn I am using -- Berroco Comfort knitting worsted -- so soft and pretty silver grey.  And just when I think I know everything, I had to learn two new stitches to make the ribbing . . . front post double crochet and back post double crochet.  I wish you could see the ribbing better in the photo.  But isn't it a pretty grey?

And of course lots of housework -- laundry, tidied all the rooms, and dishes.  And I have managed to blog every day and take at least one photo every day.

So In My World it is now December 31st . . . Happy New Year!!

These tightly curled coils are ostrich fern fronds. They start appearing in late April and early May in Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and are usually found in forests, marshes and by rivers and streams. SORT:  Bring all of your paper to one area. Sort it all into piles: KEEP, SELL, DONATE, TRASH PURGE:  bag up, and assign a price to paper bundles that you want to SELL at a garage sale or online, and put the bags in the garage sale box. Throw out the TRASH pile. Bag up the DONATE pile and immediately make arrangements for drop-off/pick-up or put  in your vehicle. ASSIGN:  separate your paper into categories that make sense to you. For example, you may want to divide it simply into cardstock and patterned paper. If you have a huge stash of paper, you may want to divide it by colour, theme, or manufacturer. **Another way to...
