Movie Review ~ Frozen (2013)

Dear Hubby and I took our two younger grandsons to see Frozen on New Year's Eve 2014 .  Based on a fable by Hans Christian Andersen, Frozen is the story of a princess with a gift.  The King and Queen soon realized that Elsa's gift could be dangerous.  They sought the advice of some very interesting trolls who warned them that fear would be the princess' greatest threat.  Elsa is locked away from the world and trained to control her powers by controlling her emotions.  She learns to be afraid of her gift and that gift nearly destroys her kingdom.  Her little sister Anna, a handsome ice-salesman named Kristoff, Sven the reindeer and (my one of my favourite characters) Olaf the snowman team up to help Elsa and save the kingdom from permanent winter.

In the end Elsa learns that her fear was the cause of the disaster and by letting go of the fear and relying on love she could control her gift and save her kingdom.

This movie is very well done and I have seen it several times since. The songs were really amazing.
