The Light between Oceans is an absolute heart-breaking, lovely, difficult, wonderful novel. It is the story of a WWI soldier, returned from the Western Front, who accepts a job on a remote island as a lighthouse keeper. During his breaks from the island he meets and marries, and takes his new bride to live on the island. An epic love story, except that they are unable to have children. One day they spot an abandoned boat and find a baby on board. You would think that their life would be wonderfully complete. But it is not . . .

I just found out that a movie was rmade of this book but I haven't seen it. I hope it is even half as good as the book and it will be worth seeing. Here's a trailer of the movie . . .

Here's this week's challenge: Your challenge this week is to S.P.A.C.E. your paper - - and I mean ALL of your paper: cardstock, patterned paper, specialty papers, and all those SCRAPS! SORT: Bring all of your paper to one area. Sort it all into piles: KEEP, SELL, DONATE, TRASH PURGE: bag up, and assign a price to paper bundles that you want to SELL at a garage sale or online, and put the bags in the garage sale box. Throw out the TRASH pile. Bag up the DONATE pile and immediately make arrangements for drop-off/pick-up or put in your vehicle. ASSIGN: separate your paper into categories that make sense to you.
