Learning about Art Journaling

My goal this year is to LEARN. I am trying to try as many different arts and adventures as I can.

This particular day was one I had been looking forward to for a very long time. We filled the classroom to learn from the wise and talented Melissa of Paper Passion Studio in London ON about art journaling. I know the room doesn't look full in this photo but that's because some of us were also shopping.

I actually finished my first two pages and I am hooked. I can't wait to work on my journal again. I just have to clear a space in my own studio in which to create.

I love it when my hands get ink-y and paint-y.

Here's this week's challenge: Your challenge this week is to S.P.A.C.E. your paper - - and I mean ALL of your paper: cardstock, patterned paper, specialty papers, and all those SCRAPS! SORT: Bring all of your paper to one area. Sort it all into piles: KEEP, SELL, DONATE, TRASH PURGE: bag up, and assign a price to paper bundles that you want to SELL at a garage sale or online, and put the bags in the garage sale box.
