I am continuing to simplify my life so I have more time to enjoy the people and places and hobbies I love so much. This week I have amalgamated all my blogs into one. I hope you will enjoy the simplicity of this as much as I do. My new blog is Crafting Made Simple. Whatever it is you wish to check out . . . just click on the labels on the right hand side of the blog and you will be there. Thanks for checking it out.

Today I have added this week’s sketch challenge to my blog. If you submit a layout based on the sketches in a given month, your name is entered in a draw for a free class. The winner of a free class is June is Terry Hersey. Congrats Terry!!

The next couple of weeks are going to be hectic . . . but fun sort of hectic. I LOVE IT!!

Craft Guild

Joyce Matthews (aka Mom) is hosting our June 14 (@ 2 pm) Craft Guild Meeting. You can email or call Mom or I for directions.

Many of us have a variety of hobbies and interests, besides scrapbooking. And how many of the hobbies and interests result in piles of unfinished projects? I have more counted cross stitches, afghans, table cloths and quilts waiting to be finished then I even want to count. The Craft Guild is here to inspire you. Join us once a month in the host’s home for a make n take (which will be non-scrapbooking . . . lol) and a chance to sit down with an unfinished project, some friends, a treat and a cup of tea (coffee) and get it done. There is no cost for this guild . . . just the enjoyment of your company.

I really enjoy these afternoons of stitching and chatting. I’ve been encouraged by my time with this group to really put some effort into finish up non-scrapbooking projects that have been collecting dust in my closet the past few years. I’ve already finished off two projects and have several more close to complete.

Recipe Swap

Each month I host a 6” x 6” recipe page swap. This month’s theme is “Some Like It Cold”. Please drop off your finished swap by June 16th. Thanks. And, yes, we are always looking for new people to swap with.

Each person will create a card and pack everything needed to create 6 more of the same cards. We will spend the evening building 6 different cards from the swap. Please let us know if you will be attending and we will give you directions to Sandra’s place. http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/St_Thomas_Cardmaking_Club/

Please contact me for information about any of these classes or to reserve your space at scrap.master.pam@rogers.com or 519-709-1077.
