Beef Chili

With the cooler weather finally upon us, I thought you might enjoy a delicious chili recipe.

3 cups cooked beef, chopped fine
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium green papper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
14 oz can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
19 oz can tomatoes
5-1/2 oz can tomato paste
2 tbsp brown sugar
1-2 tsp chili powder
2 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp salt

Combine all ingredients in a 3 quart casserole, cover and simmer.  A longer cooking time will only improve upon the flavour, but it is ready to eat as soon as it is hot.  Makes 6 servings.
